ASI and Health Including Toileting Routines

In this webinar, Dr. Bauman and Dr. Beaudry-Bellefeuille explore the complexity of health-related concerns in children exhibiting sensory integration challenges. Dr. Bauman draws on her decades of experience as a pediatric neurologist, identifying common health concerns that often go undetected in children with other diagnoses such as autism. Most recently she is supporting a new program to empower young adults with developmental disabilities to develop meaningful and productive lives in the community. Dr. Beaudry discusses her research and occupational therapy practice in which she has examined toileting habits of young children from a sensory perspective, creating therapeutic methods and practical solutions for urinary and fecal incontinence.
